Communion
Isaiah 53:1-9
Why did Christ have to die? Our sin is far too great for us to enter in the kingdom of heaven.
Enemies of God were treated this way, from the youngest to the oldest.
1 Cor 6:9-11 (We are saved by his grace.
Isaiah 53:10-12

Mathew 18:1-14
Mark 9:33
We want to be great in all things. This idea of greatness is in all of us. We can understand this greatness in our live. When we start putting down others for our own greatness, it is sinful. To have great relationships you have to become and stay a child of God. We have to become a child of God. Something’s of being a child are not good, but being a child of God is different. You will not be saved in the end if you don’t have a heart of a child.
What stands out in these passages of a child:
- Belief, fairy tales are not that big of a deal. Kid’s believe out of commons sense. Lets dig to china or raise a million dollars for famine relief with 1 kid selling cards. What about the kid who hands them a few small fish and bread and Jesus feed thousands with it. As Christians we believe beyond common sense, everyday we should believe as such. Sometimes we get too adult in our thinking, and we are not believing like a child.
- Hope 1 Peter 1:8-9, children believe that their parents are awesome and they believe that they will provide for them. We should have an inexpressible joy and faith. We should believe in goodness in store.
- Dependency, children are dependent upon their parent fully. Under Roman law you were legally able to kill your child and there is nothing you can do about it. We are dependent on God in every way, we are totally dependent on God from the breath of air to our brains. We get proud and fell like we are on our own and we created ourselves. Psalm 131:1-3. As grownups we have to make the choice to be dependent upon our God. We don’t like to be dependent as an adult. Spiritual dependence is a good thing, it brings us great security, and show us how to get lifted up Proverbs 11:2, 15:33, Mat 23:!2, James 4:10
As Christians we are looking to help out orphans. As a church may we find and help out the children. May we also help out the children of God. If anyone calls any of these children to sin then it would be better for them to have a millstone around their neck and thrown into the sea. If something causes you or someone else to sin, then get rid of it. If we struggle with something, then we should cut it off. Vaccines have helped wipe out the majority of the debilitating diseases that plagued this nation years ago, but we should come into Church and it should be a vaccinated church. God has setup his church to protect his children from the sins of the world.
v.10 – 14 Some Christians may wander from the faith but, we need to calm down because God has given Christians a guardian angle 1 kings 19:5-8, psalm 91:11, act 27:23, Hebrew 1:13-14.
How to help others in the church, 1 thes 5:14, heb 3:12-13, jude 1:20-23, search others out, help sinners get sin out, and rejoice when people repent. God’s kingdom is always in need of child protective services. We have to protect God’s church. We have to look out for each other as well.
