PT.1 Keep Begging
Beggars and non-beggars have two different attitudes. Tradition is not exactly bad, it is when it becomes greater than the word of God. God sees beggers. Hannah was weeping and begging for God and God see’s her. Jesus responds to begging, in the crowd of people. Are you begging for God. Matt 5:6 Hunger thirst for righteousness. Someone is asking for something and we have a choice to hear the needy. When someone begs you can always sees. Jesus is not happy when he has to see hypocrites vs. beggars. It is something we have to remind ourselves of, is it a trivia question we will be able to ask for, or is it begging you are doing. It affects us a lot when we are not kneeling before God. It won’t be someone begging for you, it has to be you begging for Jesus. If you cry out to God he will listen to you. If I beg for God he will listen.
PT.2 Battle With Your Own Heart.
People used to not know if they touched something unclean then they turned it to a tradition of washing your hands constantly. They finally had a confrontation with God to hear the message about being truly spiritually clean, inwardly. Joel 2:13. The battle of the heart. Don’t want your sacrifices, I want you heart. Everything comes from the heart of the issue. What we can’t see is the challenge. How is my heart? How can you misunderstand Jesus? Jesus had to explain it again for those who didn’t get it. Some of us it is just really hard to understand our heart. You have to fight for your heart to be soft. You can actually look at the bible, and the very words Jesus is talking to you, and completely not get what the scriptures are telling you. The battle is in your heart, and that is the problem we encounter. The most important thing is reading the bible and getting cut in your heart by God’s word. Jesus then got deeper on the issue and went well beyond the issue of washing you hands. You have to fight for your heart to get it. We actually need people in our lives. These people could be around Jesus and still not get it, well when I read the word of God I could as well not get it. Things will come out during this season and you will have to fight for your heart this season. Fight for your heart to understand it.
